"Rigging" a winch cover...

I lost my old plastic winch cover somewhere on the highways of SE Texas. Jayco/Starcraft no longer sells/makes the part so I tried to come up with something.

Here is what it looked like without the cover:

Here is my mod 'prototype'

I used a old flexible plastic cutting board. If it holds up in the wind, then I'll replace it with something newer, and a little thicker. But at least it'll keep things off my newly greased winch

I'd put a bit of grease on that winch...starting to rust and you don't want rust building up and making it slip!

You might check the boat places, it looks like a standard winch. Maybe harbor frieght
