Or Sportsman's Guide has NATO and EPA Jerry cans for $25 to $40.
Customer,

Yes, You can purchase any product for less money, but when it comes to Fuel Cans, Cheaper is NOT Better.
We looked at other manufacturers that we could have sold for less money, but the Quality just was not there.

There is all kinds of tricks that manufacturers can do or not do, when it comes to keeping the price down and cheap!
Example: Using thinner Gage steel, not coating the interior of the tank completely "Only" coating the inside bottom of the tank,
Inferior Welds, Not including the Fuel Spouts with the can or an Inferior Spout that does not meet EPA Requirements, etc..

We will not go there, because when it comes to selling products like Fuel Tanks, we wanted to make sure that the products
are Certified and Approved. This holds the manufacturer to strict guide lines, they have to meet certain requirements and that makes
us feel better about our products.

There is a reason that Wavian goes to great lengths to become Certified and Approved on there products. Because Safety & Quality always comes first
for the families purchasing and using all there products, Knowing the families are getting the best quality for there hard earned money.

For these reasons mentioned above we can sell these Fuel, Oil, Water Jerry Tanks in all of the states across this country.
Not every manufacturer can say this or do this....

As you know there are a few Jerry Can Manufacturers now going through law suites because they are not meeting requirements set.
Like this Manufacturer: http://www.arb.ca.gov/enf/casesett/midwest_can.htm

I know the old cliche "Cheaper is Better" but when it comes to Fuel Tanks, I don't feel or think this should be the case.

Note: Just a little more information about our manufacturer "Wavian" they are Manufactured in the country
of LATIVA, this North European nation is part of the European Union.

I have no dog in the fight, you obviously do as you are operating a venture with the intention of making a profit.

I personally feel advertisements should be posted as advertisements, and not as conversation.

Thank you for the info. A plastic "EPA" can at Walmart is about $20, so your prices aren't all that bad for a good metal can. If only it had the "old school" spout...

Heck, I paid over $100 for two Septer fuel cans. So the price is right in line.

And I say that is great for vendors to be part of the forums. It typically bribes about better products, IMHO.
