I just installed a Coleman Mach 3 PLUS. I installed a Coleman-Mach 08-0059 Deluxe ADB Ceiling Assembly 9430D-715 for the inside.
Question: do they make a inside unit that turns the fan off when it hits a set temp? The fan in mine always runs and I see another brand turns off but doesn’t fit my Mach 3

Yes, RV ones run all the time in a pup. Any of the roof ones with the on board controls operates the same.

Mine runs all the time too. I've read that you can rewire it to a thermostat, but that seemed like way more trouble than it's worth.

I have a cheap thermostat that is connected to the power outlet. It just kills power when the temperature falls below a certain threshold. Nothing expensive and no wiring at all.

but, the compressor surges on whenever it kicks back in, making it only useful when on a bigger power post. Pops the breaker at home (I use a dedicated 20a plug for the AC)

I have a TT now not a pop up.
BUT in the TT the ac Fan running all night was annoying. I installed a thermostat and the converter assembly that converts the knobs to a relay assembly that the thermostat controls. Best $125 bucks spent that included 9’ wire a digital coleman 12v thermostat, and the conversion kit. Install was easy enough. Now it works like a home a/c. The thermostat i got turns on 1 degree above set temp and turns off 1 degree below set temp.
