Here are a few pictures of what I’m dealing with.

Before you use the heavy chemicals, try using some car wash soap in a bucket of water and a heavy bristled brush. That is what I use to dean my pup's roof.

Camco makes a roof cleaner. Spray it on and brush

Soft water really helps. Early in the morning with a heavy dew will soften it.

Powdered laundry detergent applied directly to a stiff bristle brush will provide sufficient abrasion to clean the roof without damaging it. I'd be awfully careful about using bleach. This is how I kept the ABS roof on our 2000 Santa Fe pristine for the 6 yrs we owned it.

Wonder how well Comet cleaner would work?

I probably like this idea better than bleach now that I think about it. Thank you

I've never used Borax so I couldn't say for sure but it seems like it would also be effective for cleaning a camper roof without damaging it - just rinse it off really well.

I used Zep and a scrub brush. Worked really well.

What Zep product? I just bought an old popup and the roof is so dirty, I've used simple car wash, then used Borax which did help a lot, now I'm thinking of using bleach as a last resort.

This is the one. Don't mind my husband's filthy work bench. Lol
I also used this to the all the mold out of the entire canvas.

I got the same mold spores on my rubber roof. Wondering if same stuff can be used

A little diluted bleach will work also.

Yes!! Bleach did wonders. Now should I put a UV protectant on it?

Years ago I inherited my dad's Coleman and I used soft-soap on it with a brush and it came out beautifully....we had it probably 5 years after and didn't have any problems with cracking but maybe ask around before you take my advice.
