2012 Starcraft. We are thinking we will need to replace the entire flooring. The section under the lift is completely rotted so the lift can’t raise the roof all the way. We are concerned that once we remove the lift we won’t be able to get it back on the correct way. We have found water rot on other sections of the floor. Is it time to sell as is and start over?

Totally depends on what you are comfortable doing. If you decide to repair/restore take a lot of pictures and notes. Label as much as you can.
    Good luck either way

Whether its the winch or one of the lifting post, any section of the floor can be replaced. The repair section needs to be well supported. A sheet of steel under the post or winch would be super strong.

How would you go about doing this? We are in the middle of a full floor gutting, and wonder what enhancements we should do while everything is bare and exposed.
