Well, I'm starting to clean up our trailer to get her ready to sell. Problem is I live in an apartment complex in Korea! On the 10th floor!

    My workstation

What it looks like before I do anything...

I forgot that write wheels can bite. :-[

I got it pretty good all the way to the wheels. It's 8pm. Time to stop.

    More pics tomorrow...

And now the work begins on the front half. I was originally only going to do the step as a trial run to see how it works.

The acid wash... (18 molar Phosphoric acid cut 50% with water)
Do not use hydrofluoric acid! It is extremely poisonous and can result in amputation or death!!!!

Round 2 - the back half of the trailer.

I got a generator and did it at my old workstation outside this time in the daylight.

Didn't understand why the rust was so bad on the left side. Duh! The mudflap broke a few years ago...

I used flexible sanding disks and took it down to bare metal.

    Primed

    And first color coat

New tires, added brakes, painted frame, and LED's all around. It should sell quickly. It's got to.
I have to pay for the new trailer. It's almost the same price for the old one in Korea as the new one coming from America!
Thank you Korea/US Free Trade Agreement! :D

Love your outdoor work space. Did you just find a road that was closed for roadwork and set up shop? lol!

Actually, the construction site for new apartment buildings. It's a holiday here, so I figured I could get it all done there, as it's too noisy to do in our apartment complex in Korea.
Similar to an HOA, we're not supposed to work on our cars here, but they gave up trying to stop me... ;D

This was just too noisy though to risk it.

Good work. Those 'little' things will turn off a buyer, but now that you fixed it, it won't even be noticed!

Hey, sorry, just came across this. I know the new pup has already arrived but I wanted to say kudos for doin' what ya gotta do to get it done, bud!

I know how tough it is to have to work outside. It's one of the reasons we moved a few years ago. I grew up in the country with tons of tools and a nice big shop to work in, so toughing it out on a parking pad with a little toolbox pretty nearly threw me over the edge a few times.

The new trailer hasn't come yet. I have five big toolboxes... The only thing I didn't bring to Korea was my floor jack. :(
Finding a place to work is the worst part.

I loved our ExPat experience in Malaysia. We've been to China too (not as ExPats but to adopt). We *LOVE* Asia!!

You assume correctly, and "write wheels" is the resultant effect of mixing tired fat fingers, a small smart phone and autocorrect...
"wire wheels" are the ones that bite.

Hah-hah!, BigBaron has fat fingers! [LOL] [LOL]

JK, bud.. I too suffer the bitter frustration and torment of ham-handed-sausage-fingeredness.
