I just purchased a 16ft Scamp and am putting my Pup on the market. It was time, now that the kids are (mostly) grown and I need something that is quicker and easier to set up without always having to unhitch from TV. My last trip to Joshua Tree was cut short due to rainy weather. DH didn’t want to close up camper in the rain. On the drive home, I checked Craigslist once again as I've been lurking online for a fiberglass egg, and lo and behold, I found my NTM Camper.

Nice. I always liked the scamps and casitas. Although I really like having a slide out, so they have never been in my top 3 choices.
    Enjoy the new trailer!

Congrats on the Casita, they are great units. We went dark with a small TT several years ago and love our TT. Good Luck and happy Camping

Thanks all. I will miss “Poppy” but I hope to pass her on to a new camping family.

    On my radar too :)
I think about when the kids are grown, and I am solo camping. If I move from tent camping, been looking at Scamp 13 or 8' box PUP.

Scamps are nice, and I like that you can get what you want. Congratulations on your Scamp!

Those are on the short list when the kids are grown.

I love the layout of the kitchen. You've got your stove and countertop space on one side (need to have that prep area) and a sink and countertop space on the other side. Hope I can find something similar when I finally decide to move to the dark side.

I got a great deal and the camper was super clean, hardly used. The last owners kept a journal that I found while cleaning out all their pots and pans. They only took it out 6 times, for short wknd trips. I just brought her in to get the bearings greased, installing a quick release LP port and a usb/12v charger and voltmeter w/on/off switch. I’m also researching lithium ion batteries since I mostly boondock or get non hook-up sites. There isn’t enough room on the tongue for 2 6v batteries, but I do have a Renogy 100w solar suitcase. I’ve got my first trip planned this weekend at Picacho Peak state park near Tucson. It’s a full hookup so I can check and run all the systems. While I did list my POPUP on Craigslist, I’m not in a hurry to sell her. She can be stored in my garage for now until her new family is found. btw, the fiberglass RV forum doesn’t hold a candle to this amazing, friendly and helpful forum. Thanks for years of great advice and companionship throughout the long winter months when not out camping.

Some good folks on the Fiberglass RV forum, but I agree, this forum is so much easier to navigate and engage with others. Not sure what the difference is, but just more comfortable communication here.

Thank you all, who make this forum what it is! Much appreciated on-line camp community :)

Scamp says it weighs btwn 1800-2000lbs, dry weight, so I figure mine is probably 1900lbs because no A/C and dual propane tanks.
