Just purchased a 2008 Jayco pop up camper and I'll be spending a lot of time on this forum in the near future. I have a wife and 2 kids and this is the first year I've gotten my wife to go camping. We did the tent thing for a while this year but that got old quick. There's myself, my wife, and 2 kids. We live in Southwest Missouri and camp at a Corp of Engineers campground down in our area. I'm looking to this forum for suggestions on different ways to "trick out" the camper. My wife is already talking about painting and re-upholstering the interior and looking for creative ways to add storage to the inside. Any suggestions/links you guys have would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the portal!

The single best mod that's cheap, easy to do and that creates the most additional interior storage is the wire shelving mod.

There are an infinite number of permutations, so search the forum for one that meets your needs.

I highly recommend the use of expandable shower curtain rods though. Using plastic closet rod holders on the ceiling and galley base will keep the rods from kicking out.

    Here's mine:

Wire shelves store under the mattress in the front bunk, posts store under the mattress in the rear bunk and it takes a minute to set up/take down.
