We've stayed at this site a number of times, but most recently with a PUP for the first time. The sites are essentially vehicle-wide long gravel spaces with telephone poles around them, There was no way most of us could open the RVs and the awnings without hitting the unit next to us. Many of the sites have power, but none have water, and there are no showers or flushing toilets for campers. The Cafe and bar have toilets, so you'd have to go in an order something. The porta potties can get very over run. So, why go here? Well, it's right on the river and if the salmon are running, you just walk out of the PUP and on to the river and fish. It can get busy in Hope when the fish run, so having a site that is all yours is good. It can get a little loud there with folks at the bar. It get's CRAZY on summer solstice, so this isn't the place to go for a quiet get away, for the most part. But, during the week when the fish aren't running (May-June) it can be peaceful in Hope. There are not a lot of options (read none) in downtown Hope, so this place is kind of it.
