How do you like the Z17Z so far?
Some health issues and needing a little more space, last month we went searching for a used hybrid. Being able to do research here helped so much! With our budget, we knew that we would be looking at doing some repairs. Luckily, my DH is an awesome guy and can fix many things! We live in Tennessee. We had a planned route to look at several hybrids that included Mississippi and Arkansas. We got ours in Arkansas. The PO was a Disabled Army Vet, the floor needs a partial replacement, the spare tire was dry rotted and the camper had not been used in a yr (or more) due to he and his wife's health problems. We left Arkansas knowing the spare was no good. The time of day prevented us from getting a new spare, we took it easy...until pffff!!! 2 new tires and we had a decent spare. A slow trip home. I wasn't aware until after we got home that the camper had no working brakes. Now it has 4 new tires and new brakes. Will try to post a few pics. Thanks!
Couldn't post the pic of the outside due to file size? I will take another picture later. Thanks for looking ! Thanks to all of the helpful people on this site!
After 3 years of loving our PUP... We were lured to the grey side by a beautiful, indoor washroom and the ease of heading out on weekend trips with our new hybrid

We too were lured to the grey side.
Well, after much trepidation, we have decided to enjoy the rest of our camping season, and then jump to the dark side. If anyone is interested in our beautiful HTT, drop me a line!
We got our 2002 StarCraft Travel Star 23sds July 6th (I posted the before pics previously). We knew it needed a partial floor replacement when we got it. We had to take EVERYTHING out of the hybrid for a full floor replacement. Then a 1/2 roof replacement and 2 partial wall replacements. I will post a few pics now. There are way too many to post at one time for sure. If anyone is interested, I have posted updates as I went along on the facebook hybrid group( hope I'm not breaking any rules saying that, it seemed way easier to post pic there). Thanks for help/suggestions that Ive read here on the portal! You all are very helpful!
Still having a little problem with pics, maybe these few will come thru. I will see. Thanks!
Wow, that's quite the project and most impressive!!
Thanks RFryer! It was MUCH MORE than we initially thought. My firefighter husband's schedule and mine (I work 3 12's) is the only way we got this done in 3 months. Weekends only, I'm thinking at least 6 months. I can hardly believe everything is back together

Did you by chance take any pictures of the roof while it was taken apart? I would love to see how far apart the supporting cross members are apart.
