How do you drain the water tank on a Skamper 211C?.... When I got the thing the previous owner had left water in the tank and I really need to flush it. There has got to be a better way than just pumping it out. Thanks!
First, welcome from the Seattle area. Did you crawl under the camper and look to see if there is a drain plug? Many campers have them.
There is a (female) hose bib on the side of the trailer with a ball valve center, feed from the bottom side of the poly tank. I had tried wedging the ball valve open, & didn't even get a dribble. I've down load the owners manual from this site & it did not have a procedure. Thought I'd try and do it right before I break it open and reengineer the system.
We need a picture of the tank and valve. 2014 thread: Jbevard was last seen here in June 2016 and Unstable is no longer with us.
