    “they cant find parts.”

cant get it till saturday, and now i’m back to where i was A MONTH AGO! unuseable rig.

if i cant fix the bed, i cant use camper.

and i am SICK over it. stomach in knots.

will i be kicked out of the club for showing up at a Tx pup rally in my tent?

We had no shore power hookups so I fashioned up a battery bank and hooked it up the inverter system. Switched everything to LED and the system provided power and heat all week.

Oh yeah, I also cut out the old mini roof vent and added a larger vent with two way fan

That is awesome! I also picked up a free scamper this summer. If you are having any lifting system issues, look up Goshen lift systems. That is what the slammer uses. They are the cheapest. I bought a complete lifting system for around $400. Works like a charm now. Enjoy.

Hello all. I just picked up a 1970 Skamper. Not sure of the model #. It sleeps 6 and the plate says its a CD if that makes sense. I am looking for information/brochures, and manuals for it to familiarize myself with it. I am going to try to camp around Ontario with it this summer. The old owner said everything works but I have yet to be inside of it. -11 and vinyl sides makes me hesitant to open it up. Brrrr.

I think we may have a wiring issue as well. Have been looking for a manual and came across this site - We have an 88 and it seems that the manual in the "resources" section isnt available to download? (Maybe I am doing something wrong though.....)

Hello, I just purchased a 1998 Skamper Pop Up in excellent shape. It did have a leak on the roof but previous owner patched. I am missing the poles for the awning. They never used fridge or stove so I'll have to get that checked out. Very excited to use this summer. Our first pop up!

Just recently was gifted a 1991 Skamper 211c. Needs a little work. Have to fix the lift system. I have what seems like a silly question. I know there's supposed to be a battery someplace but there isn't one. Where is the battery supposed to go? Thanks for your help.

The older trailers had a battery box in the front. I relocated mine to under the dinette. Really it can go anywhere you have room. You just need to find the wiring diagram for you trailer and connect the battery up properly. I also run a 100w solar panel that allows me to run the lights and fan as much as I need to.

Thank you very much. There's no battery box on front anymore. So I will figure out where I want to put it. And then have someone with electrical experience install it and hook it up.

It is better to have it up front on the tongue so you can maintain it easier.

Owner of 1999 Skamper 21D. I've had it for 6 yrs now. Last year discovered zirc fittings for lubing the cables in their tubes. Made 4 security posts to keep camper in the up position in case the cable breaks. Great shape and great camper.
