    Hi Everyone

I have a smarter tools 2000w generator and the overload alarm just started coming on. I have nothing plugged into the generator.

It starts and runs just fine, but will not output any power.

I have done all recommended maintenance.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated on how to fix the problem.

    Thanks

Check the low oil cutoff switch. I have had a few genny's that this was the problem.

If the low oil alarm is not causing the problem. You might want to start it and let it run for awhile to dry the windings, I just did this to a friends unit, after about an hour everything dried out. You are supposed to exercise a generator at 1/2 load for about 45 minutes every month, this keeps the windings dried out.
