Woke up this morning in North Western New Jersey with snow on the ground.
Not good for my state of mind.

Same here in upstate NY, pretty depressing. Top 5 coldest day ever in May (39 degrees for the high). In 2015 we had record high of 92 degrees on this day.

No snow but KC had a record low -- 34 -- over night. Old record was 35 in 1980.

Snowed in central PA as well.
2 weeks ago I was cutting my lawn and it was snowing at the same time. Never in my life had I ever though I'd be doing that!

Western New York... I've already cut my lawn twice, and now snow. At least it wasn't enough to need a shovel.

That's called looking at the bright side.

Having lived in Minnesota most my life (3 years in WI), talk and shock of snow in other parts of the Country this time of year makes me grin. Yes, it can get depressing, but it is not completely out of the ordinary for us to have recorded snowfall this time of year. According to our DNR, the only span that has never had any recorded snowfall in Minnesota is from June 20 to August 20. Two whole months of summer! Woo-hoo!

It is our fishing opener this weekend and there have been many a year when when I have fished in snow flurries with yesterday being no different. There were many reports of fishing in the snow all over the State. Yesterday, I had had two friends send me pic of the snow from their boats.

The reality is, here in the Northland, consistently warm weather really doesn't start until June.

No snow here thank goodness but the frost on the ground was crazy this morning. It was 34 Degrees when I walked my dogs this morning. Going to need to wait to mow until the ground dries some. Luckily it’s sunny and things are warming up fast.

We had record low of -4 C for the date, and woke up to snow on the ground here in Southern Ontario as well.

We had to take our veggy plants in on Thursday evening due to a freeze warning. Friday was chilly and woke up on Saturday morning to a little ice on the patio!! We had snow showers on and off all day yesterday (Saturday). If April showers bring May flowers, what does snow in May bring?

At one point yesterday It looked more like February than May. Two hours later the snow had melted and the sun was shining. My oldest ds asked if perhaps Mother nature had forgotten to take her antidepressant this morning! [LOL]

We got 70F and sun in Anchorage this weekend. Most of the snow is gone, except the plow piles. Commerical CGs are open, and the public land is beginning to open according to their own schedules.

We got some insignificant snow here overnight. We could have been out camping if it wasn't for yard work!
