I'm pretty sure the sway is coming from the negative camber with the axle upside down. It is slow at work tonight, so I've been researching replacement parts.Wow. Lucky. And weird. Glad it worked out. No help on the sway though. Could a break be sticking or something?
Yeah - lucky for sure! I think the axle bent because it had negative camber instead of positive (because the axle was installed upside down), resulting in more pressure on the axle when the weight of the camper was put on it. I am going to pull the camper back out when I get home from work in the morning to get a better look at the situation. That way I can make sure that it was installed upside down, is bent for sure, whether the brakes are backwards or correct and get some measurements for a new axle if needed.Sounds like y'all had a real adventure, (or adventures) but you got everyone /everything home and that make a big difference. Sounds like you might have a bent axle, or the axle flip over . Check the springs first, there could be a broken leaf /s or some other problems with the springs. Good luck and Happy camping
