so long to fall

After a beautiful fall here in NW Wyoming we used the last nice weekend to go to one of our favorite areas. Sadly we were cutting wood and not camping. We did, however, get to take a soak in our favorite hot springs. Already dreaming of warm days , but the snow is coming.

We're in our 2nd Fall for Minnesota right now. Soon, we'll be deep in Stick Season, where the leaves are gone until the snow shows up for December fun.

We only get a week or two of winter weather usually. So fall comes and goes until the end of February.
We'll be camping this weekend and it'll be in the low 60s at night and upper 70s in the afternoons.

Sometimes, 3rd Fall in MN will hold all the way until Xmas, then drop some miracle snow and be frozen thru April. Good Times.

Just got 8" of snow here in Anchorage. Currently contemplating the quickest way to shovel snow off the roof of the rig so I can put my leg through a vent then fall off the rig. Meh, maybe I'll just use April to melt it. She works well every year; very dependable.

I dread this time of year. We just winterized the camper this past weekend and I'm already jonesin' to get back out there.
