We booked our final trip of the season last night for October 16th. The way the temp is changing here in debating on winterizing before the trip. If rather both think about the cold.

I wonder how long I'll be able to go before eveyone who is from the warmer areas stray posting and I get the camper blues. It didn't take long last year.

    :(

I'm really hoping we get out for one more weekend. Not sure it'll happen. I guess either way I will winterize somewhere in mid / late October.

We're heading to Quechee State Park Oct 16-18. They do a "haunted" walk through the woods for the kids, so that will be our last trip out this year.

But then we can rub it in on them next summer when it's to hot for them to camp.

    Sounds like fun.

long range forecast say we might be in rain too. :(

My last scheduled trip is also for the Oct. 16-18. I also am saddened by the thought of winterizing. Thr happy thought is that since I now own a TT and have a level spot with power in my backyard is that I have another hangout spot and spare bedroom.

We have one more trip coming up next weekend, then I'll winterize. I don't think there's any freeze danger before then.

Here in Southwestern Ontario we push the shoulder season to the end of November. After that it's just not manageable for us. The parks really settle down in the fall though. So it's nice that way. Always great neighbours.

I was looking at the camper drinking my coffee and coloumbus weekend will be our last. I leave that Monday to west coast and come back the weekend for work.
so the last week of October is Halloween so that is it for us.

I did end up clearing a spot in the back yard for the camper so atleast I will look at it. soon it will be time to blow out the lines , drain the water heater and put the cover on.... [:!]

so this year we will hit 30 days of camping , nearly the doubled the last years yet it feels so less.

I'm not giving in yet. Next couple of weekend are booked up but I'm hoping to be able to camp into November. When we were at Yellowstone in August, it dipped down in to the 30s every night, so I know we can take it. [:)C]

Heck I'm just starting to camp for the year... ( but that had nothing to with weather). But we may get cut short because its an El nino year.

I'm with Txbum, last trip of the year and first trip of 2016 is at Huntington Beach Campground in South Carolina. It likely won't be shorts and t-shirts for us, but it is camping
