Our camping season seems to be over for this year, so it is time for planning next year and working on fine tuning a few things.

I still need to wash and cover the pup. Weather and schedules have not cooperated for us to get it done since our last trip, in Oct.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we made tentative plans for three trips next year.

Removed the panel under my sink and found all kinds of usable space.
Added an indoor-outdoor thermometer.
Removed the front panel under the dinette bench to start drawer building.
Added bubble levels.
Inspected roof.
Measured for a slide-out topper.

We took a drive out to the storage lot and looked at it. I brushed off about 6" of snow. Both LP tanks and battery still there. Tires still looking good. That's about it... tucked it in for winter.

I don't know how you Alaska people do it. I am ready after 1 month of winter. Heck it's not even winter yet and I am ready. I couldn't imagine the length of winter you guys have... [:>(]

Getting it ready for the last trip of the year Dec 6 weekend. Going to French Creek State Park in Pa. Then it goes to bed for the next 2 months if weather is bad. If we get good weather in Jan or Feb I might just have to wake it up early [:D]

Saturday we went to Cabelas because my girlfriend wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas. Picked out a 10" dutch oven and a Cabelas cast iron roaster. Also gave her some other suggestions. May go back this weekend and pick up a deluxe camp kitchen. That place is hard on the wallet!

Not a thing. Just looked at it longingly. [:(]
Last night, I did the same thing. :D. It's just sitting there, wanting to be set up at a campsite.

It's still covered until Spring, but I have a lot of ideas rolling around in my head for when I uncover it.

I put carpet under the tires, recaulked an area on the roof, sanded and stained the table I made that goes over the folding camping chair seat area that fell into the camp fire due to high winds and melted into an unreconisable object. Going to buy a new rug for the entry way this weekend.also going to pop it up to put the dry rid in and peek inside. It going to be a long winter [:(]

Remove the jack stand so could do an oil change on the car and truck. Well really supervised as the son did the oil change. Will make sure it is slanted so the rain will run off it if we get the winter storm that they are talking about.

I made curtains for my new to me pop up. Was going to start the new valances but failed to put notes on my measurements. Trailer is put away for the winter stored 2hr away from home. Will have to find time to visit the trailer so I can at least have a winter project. Dreaming of future trips and adding on to my wish list.

Ordered a BAL leveler, should get it first part of January.
She is in the garage until Spring.
Santa stopped by and put presents inside the PUP for DS and DD. Great hiding spot.

finally got her covered up. Now to start planning on some new electrical outlets over the winter and maybe some new shelves in one of the closets.

I bought a new ADCO cover and installed it today. I was impressed with the quality and after padding out a few sharp edges, bumper.stabilizers and adding another tie down under the bottom using a couple of tarp grabbers I was more than pleased with the fit.

Pulled the table out so I could use it as a pattern for a custom table.

I plan on purchasing a nice single piece of wood and laminating pictures of all our years of camping trips on the top.

Never done anything like this before so I hope it works!
