My vote or Blair Valley (vs Tamarisk Grove) was because of the highway right by TG!!

And I have not stayed in Blair Valley yet, Just Little Blair Valley!!

Some folks at the Sequoia Rally were talking about Callico ghost town again. I've never been there.

I tried to find the information on their Halloween weekend. The 2014 Rally was there. If I remember right it was $125 for 2 nights of camping in overflow with no hook-ups, came with 4 ghost town wrist bands, included a shuttle from the CG to the town. The wrist bands didn't include the pay for attractions such as going through the mine, train ride, and a few other things to do.

So if that is decided it may exclude some people due to cost, it is also limited as there are a lot of other people camping there.

Might I suggest Oak Grove Campground near Warner Springs. We camped there on Memorial Day and realized it would be a great rally location. The campground is flat within a grove of oak trees. There are single sites as well as quad sites where four camps are clustered. This is a US Forest campground in the Cleveland National Forest Plaomar district. Nearby are the Warner Springs glider airport, some wineries and farms. 1.5 mile easy trail loop across the highway which connects to a longer strenuous trail that takes you to Palomar Observatory. One set of flush toilet facility, lots of water spigots and pit toilets scattered about. Tables and fire rings, BBQ grills, too. Latitude: 33.386389 / Longitude: -116.789167

OK folks, Fish Creek won the poll. Let's plan on camping right before the wind caves. I will post coordinates at a later date. According to the link below, there are 6 established campsites but the whole area is dispersed camping. The wind caves look amazing.

I like that choice, I'll change my vote to FC!!!!!

See ya there!!
