1995 Coleman/Fleetwood Utah. Manual crank. OK, this ought to be in a FAQ somewhere. What is the correct "spray lubricant" to use on the lifter cables, pulleys, etc? I found a reference to both TPFE and Silicon spray lubes on the lifter tubes, but I want to make sure I use the right stuff on the cabling. Thanks in advance! Paul Zimmer
I have the L&W system on my 96 Viking and use silicone spray on the lifters and the pulleys. The owners manual only mentions lubricating the lifters and as the cables are inside the camper they probably don't need any lube.
Any dry type lube, silicon is a good choice. You dont want like a grease , that will attract dirt and stuff and then will stick to it and gum up the works.
