Might be just a slight overkill for a popup; but if there were four I might be interested in lifting my GMC.[IMG]

You're starting with smaller tires than I did. Mine came with ST175x80x13 (24" diameter), and I first went with ST205x75x14 (26" diameter). However, the ledges/rocks, etc., in SE UT tended to destroy the sidewalls of the ST tires and I really got tired of changing them and buying new tires. So when I replaced them I went with non-ST tires for a few reasons. Wanted a bit larger and a lot stronger, and a higher speed rating. So I went with Yokohama 215x70x15 (27" diameter).

    everything is bolted here.
the book shows both under - like mine & over.
over makes it higher, allows for larger tire? right?

not a job i want to DIY.

You are correct in that this is not a DIY job unless you can weld. To get bigger tires you need to move the axle under the springs.

I just completed the over/under conversion last week. I got all parts in a kit from etrailer. This weekend will be the first camping trip since the lift. Boondocking of course on some nasty forest roads. I even made and added a skid plate to the axle for more protections.
