I have a 1994 Starcraft Meteorite 817. I saw this video showing these support bars for safety and I wonder if my camper should have those too? My family will be in here and it is a old lift system so i want it to be safe. Anyone know if this is something I can get for my Model have a part number or a source? Sorry this forum wont let me start the vid at 1:30 those are the brackets im talking about.

    Thanks.

My trailer came with two of these like discussed in the video...

I copied the LIFTER ARM SAFETY POST diagram from my 2008 Starcraft RT14 manual for you...

    Looks like this...

Search GOOGLE for 'STARCRAFT LIFTER ARM SUPPORT POSTS'... Saw a couple of sales places...

You could also find some PCV square posts from LOWES cut to the same size. Even a 2X4 can be cut to the right size length wise. If they don't stay in place then just use a plastic TIE WRAP around the post and the POPUP lifter arm...

Love to have mine in place and not worry about the roof coming down on us when we are sleeping in the tent beds... We have zero clearance with our roof in the down position with our added three-inch FOAM TOPPER added to the top of the tent bed mattresses.

2x4's can be used, even seen abs/pvc pipe used as safety bars ..
