Just purchased a 1978 StarCraft Starmaster 6 after years of tooling around in a 1971 VW Campmobile. It needs a lot of work! My wife is tackling the aesthetics and I am struggling to find info on the mechanics. Need to find owner's manual, iring schematics and such as well as some original photos to see how it was originally set up (there have been many "modifications"!) Any tips or information (particularly on electrics and cable system) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Welcome to the Forums from N/W Fl. Panhandle and congrats on the NTU PUP. one site for your DW to go is www.popupprincess.com for ideas to "make it your own" I have a friend that had a VW camper van, they were a great little machine and it was a fun unit, but parts got so hard to get he finally got rid of it. Good Luck with the PUP and I wish you many great trips camping, Happy Camping

Thanks, she'll love it! Miss the VW but the PUP will keep us busy and provide a little more space!

We have a 91 starmaster vista that we are working on. U tube was an excellent resource to use in understanding how to even start to fix it up. Good luck and welcome!
