I finally got the stereo and speakers all wired in and working, had to move the thermastat over and I put the speakers in the end of the dinnette seats, I wired it so that it turns off when the galley is down, that way I don't forget to turn off and drain the battery, sounds great very happy with the decision to install, some photos below.

Hmmm, you've got me thinking... We have a REALLY nice Pioneer car stereo my husband one in a contest a while back, but our cars are set with nice stereos already. Could we use it in the PUP if we got some speakers? How would I wire it?
I even think one of my sons has an extra set of car speakers. :)
My DH would LOVE to get rid of the little radio we take along.

That looks fantastic. I'd love to see some pics of the interior of those dinette seats after the install.

    Thanks!

That's a very clean, professional installation. Nicely done.

If I recall correctly, you fond that head unit on eBay? What is your impressions of the sound quality of it?

The sound is excellent, good bass and very clean tight highs, I was very impressed with the quality of the unit and you can not go wrong with Infinity reference or kappa speakers worth every penny, they are top notch for sound quality, got a great deal on both items on Ebay.
