The temp. is to be near 50F for the high on Saturday. I couldn't be any luckier. It was 8F on Monday morning on the way to work. My car didn't even heat up before I got to work. We had snow 3 days ago which will be melted. The place I'm going (Fremont Lakes SRA) has a stocked trout lake which I may camp near. They are a lot of fun to catch. This is on what they call the "old side" of the lakes which isn't near as nice as the obvious "new side." Maybe I'll camp on the new side and drive over and fish on the old side. I just don't like the thought of leaving my camper there un-attended. I will probably be the only one there, so it would kind of be an easy target!!!!

I know some people in Fremont, ever here of a family last name Busche? And I have a friend (soldier) stationed at the Army Reserve center there.

My brother is in Nat. Guard currently. He did two terms in Iraq. I know a Busche, but haven't seen him in awhile. He played drums in a band I was in. Is this the same guy???

Hmmm - no more camping for us now. There are a couple of feet of snow on the ground and the PUP is snowed in around the side of the house. We're probably not going to see temperatures above freezing for a while now!

So how did it go? Saturday was beautiful here in Western IA too. However, Sunday at 4 A.M. it was still +43; by 6 A.M. it was +31; by 7 A.M. it was +15 with 30 MPH wind. Tonight it is -3 with 25 MPH winds.

Hope you got out of there before the big blow!

^^^ The weather was much like the way yours was. It was beautiful on Saturday and an icy hell on Sunday. Sunday had a high of 8degreesF!!!! Can you believe it? It was CCCCOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDD!!!!! I woke up pretty cold and as soon as the sun came out, I got the hell outta there!!! Ate some good food and hung out with a few good friends. It was a good campout for December!!!
