So i installed the inexpensive swagman RV roof rack to my 2007 Fleetwood Niagara using the factory roof rails and not drilling any holes. I used 5/16 carriage bolts to fit in the slider rails and screwed in the swagman rack holders. It looks sturdy but im not putting anything heavy on top.

2 hours driving at 70 mph with 2 hobie outbacks everything looks sturdy and strong.

Meant to say looks like they are well tied down. On a side note I notice your Fleetwood is discolored yellowish on the roof sides, mine is that way on the roof and roof sides, have you ever tried to change that?

Did the same thing to mine using the factory roof rails and didn’t have to drill into the roof. Got the Yakima bike racks for free and made them fit with some redneck engineering . Gonna rest them out this week and make sure everything works on the road before taking it on a long camping trip

I took my yellowing roof from this:

    To this:

    Steps:
    1. scrub it with TSP and a broom to get any dirt or shine off.
    2. Coat with SealKrete, let dry for 2 hours
    3. Mix 25% outdoor latex / 75% SealKrete and recoat 2 times
    4. Next morning, wash if dirty and recoat with 100% Sealkrete.
I did this last year and it looked the same when I uncovered it in June. Hope this helps...
