94 Palomino Stallion has the swing out stabilizers. What do I do when I'm on unlevel ground and there isn't enough ground clearance to swing them out?

    Thanks

Im guessing you eaither dig a hole or put blocks under the campers wheels to raise it.

Or swap them out for crank down stabs.

On my smaller Yuma trailer, I found at times that I had to either lower/raise the tongue to get enough clearance to swing them out then I could level it out front to back. I would then crank up the roof and then tension the stabilizers. I don't remember ever not being able to get them down but there were times that they were tight before even extending them at all.

I had planned to swap to BAL crank stabilizers but never did before replacing the trailer.

Yes, as said above by billbill, I just crank up, or lower the tongue until I can swing the stabs down. Then re-level the Pup front to back and set the stabs. Its pretty easy.

If you could come over and do this for me, that would be great! I'll be here next week, and probably for the next 6 months. I'll sit about 10 feet away and yell encouraging directions to you. You'll need to stop in at Princess and grab 4 of those stabs for me. Oh yeah, and my Argon bottle ran out the other day too, so you might want to stop in at the fab shop at your work and bring me a cyl of that. Thanks man!

Need to take care when cranking the tongue back up that there isn't too much weight on the stabs.

I know, that's why Snow should come over to my place and replace my telescoping ones with some crank downs! :)
