This is our tacky lights from our trip last summer to Yellowstone. It was actually quite fun walking around seeing other tacky lights in the campground.

How about lights that hang from a pole??? My girlfriend gave me a really tacky light that looks like it's made from a plastic plant pot. I'll take a pic when we camp next weekend. Anyone else have tacky hanging lights?

Most of our camping is dry camping and there is just no place to plug them in.

I never thought that I'd do the tacky light thing. Well, we went to a local rv show in Covington KY last weekend, and when you walk in, you can sign up for door prizes. We signed up and went in. Ten minutes later, they are calling my DW's name over the speaker. We went to claim our prize....yep, tacky lights. My DD was tickled to death and can't wait to hang them on our pup.

Congrats on the prize. What kind of lights did you get?

Hi yall, been gone a while. Two successful trips in the pup now,(six nights). I say yes, the tackier the better. Problem is I cant stop searching for the tackiest I have ever seen, so my wife keeps borrowing our friends yellow tulips. Until then the search goes on......

Go on E-bay. You can buy all sorts of cute tacky lights. No auction; you can use the "buy now" button for most of them. I'm getting the steak and bbq pit for my next ones in honor of my DH, the world's biggest carnivore.

What about running ropelight underneath the PUPUP frame...like those cars with the glowing neon lights under them...would that be considered tacky? I really want to know because I thought about doing it but haven't yet as I'm not sure what degree of tackiness it would be...

I paid a quarter for mine at a garage sale and they give off enough light around the camper so I don't need a flashlight.
