I have a 1983 Jayco Jay/Cardinal I am closing up. The only thing left to do is to put the closet down. I don't know if I slide it forward first and then lay It on the couch? Or just bend it forward.

I can't see it going anywhere except towards the floor. My 1984 StarCraft was not so lucky as to get one, but came with the stovetop, which hits the floor.

How did you get it up there? Do the exact same thing in reverse.

Like the concept, but looks like a heavy PITA to move around. The first one I've seen. Does it attach or just sit on the counter?

This is simply my theory based on what I can see. 1) is a handle. There isn't a door or drawer so it has to be used for something else. 2). Looks like a track. Maybe the closet slides on this track until it is off the cabinet?
    3) the whole thing hinges on that track and lays on the floor. The paper towel rack makes up for the room the step takes up. 20191029_194340.jpg

You slide it forward on the track until it clears the counter then lay it down towards you. It sits in the walk way. I had the same type on my old Rockwood. Yeah they have some weight so be ready.
