We are praying for her doctor and speedy recovery. Oh, and you too!
Thanks, I do need the prayers I do not care to be in any kind of heavy traffic situations. I prefer driving the wide open country lanes. I am just a giant chicken. Cluck,cluck....taking all back roads to Wolf Creek Park in September.
"Doctor just advised me Jane is good. All went well. I will see her in recovery soon. Thanks for your concerns."
Txbum and MJ home. All is well.
Happy to hear good report and she's home!
A big thank you to everyone on the Portal for your thoughts, prayers and concerns. Jane is back home. All went well. She is resting on recliner. Says hello to all of you. she will be out for three weeks. Hopefully ok by rally at WolfCreek.
TxBum, just saw the news about MJ. So glad she's on her way to recovery. Tell her to get well soon!
As for me, I reserved site 13 for the rally. As I told lonestar, I'm a tiny bit terrified. I've never driven (or backed!) a trailer, and the pup has not been out since the last rally we attended with my friends Bobbie and Dave.... when the giant storm rolled in and you guys got SOAKED having to help me because the pup wouldn't go down. Ugh. He replaced the switch after that fiasco, and Dave's family is taking it out this weekend to Corpus Christi for a family camping trip to give it a good shake-down for me. Worst case scenario, I have tents! Not sure yet if Nathan will be coming with me or not. If anything goes wrong, I might need to lean on some experts for assistance. Camping without Mat is both sad AND scary... we were a great team.
(Guess I should change my signature, but I'm not ready. It will probably be just me and my puppy Melody.)
Katie, all you have to do is ask us, We are all ready to help. My last resort is to tent camp also. I just worry about it being too hot for Jane. Hopefully we can at least take the pup. I can safely tow the pup with her lil suv. Change your signature??? We will always remember you as Indy , Matt , Nathan....and Melody. Just get there. Robin is great at backing a pup! I can too . Set up you just tell us what to do. You can count on us.
The following sites are reserved for the rally in September, 13,14,15,16,21,22,23,24,&29 . Indy,Lonestarcamper,Phoodieman,Txbum,Sallugo,Ty,TY's friend,Sallugo's friend,Merlin14....more expected to join in. Txbum
Sooooo glad you are coming! You are next to us and 13 is a good site.
Phoodieman, there will be 2 more adults in my site in a tent. Gonna be fun!
I hope someone we know is in 30 because it is actually in the center of us all!
This is the roster I have:
(I will list by site number).
13 Indy 1 Adult
14 Lonestar 4 Adults
15 Phoodieman 3 Adults
16 TX Bum 2 Adults
23 TY 11 Total
24 Sallugo's Friend
29 Merlin14 2 Adults
30 Incog Neato 2 Adults 2 Children
I know some of the info, (at least the children totals aren't correct so let me know and I can correct the list).
There is no support from the portal for rally's any more as far as I can tell. Hasn't been for a while as far as I can tell too. I still support the web site. Don't know what's going on with it.
You are right about the support, but we can still organize here on this thread and I have put an announcement on the Puppers FB group page.
Please update my site to 4 adults (2 in tent), may add one more adult, but no kiddos.
Thanks Lonestar. I think we are getting close to 30 persons!!!! Looks to be a good sizable rally and from the map we are domineering in two loops. !! Let's get some more on board before the sites run out. I'm going to have to reign in Kathleen. She has gone kid prize crazy so all kiddos' should leave with plenty of stuff.
We are reserved in site #12 arriving Thursday and departing Sunday.
We are 2 adults, 3 children...(#1 8yr boy, #1 4yr boy, & #1 4yr girl).
We look forward to seeing everyone. Is there something we can bring?
A big shout out Thank You to Richard for reminding us! See ya'll
Glad you all are in T-minus. It's close to you this time. 12 is right across from playground too.
We haven't started talking food and such yet. Gonna give Mary Jane and Richard time to get on their feet (her foot) first. More info will be forthcoming from Phoodie and Kathleen. It's a "pirate" theme---Arghhhh!
I will have 2 adults and 1 child, 11 yrs old
My friend Carl will have 2 adults and 2 childern, 6 and 4 years old
