We had the kids play hookie last Friday so we could go to the Kentucky Fall Rally. We can't get away with that again so we can't leave until after 3:00. We'll still have to get the trailer hooked up and everything after we get the kids home so we probably won't get there until 7:00 or later, provided I can take another half day off work. DW loves lima beans, so Saint Paula's lima bean bake should have at least one fan. And since the kids are 9 and 7 and Juliette's 6th birthday is Saturday, they'll have plenty of other kids to destroy the park play with.

Off to Wallyworld after work tonight to get electric blankets for pup... Will NOT be cold this weekend! I have noted that there will be a number of kiddos at this one... (our 3 + at least 3 others) Anyone mind if I have an impromptu birthday party for Juliette (our youngest) she turns 6 on the 13th and camping was what she wanted for her birthday celebration! (love that kid!) I was thinking of cake and the like... thoughts anyone???

oh, dh is right... I do LOVE limas! cant wait to try the bake!

My daughter Cora turns 5 tomorrow, so we'll be celebrating also. Good to see some other youngsters coming out for the weekend.

    Joe,

I carry a table in the camper that we can use. We're still figuring out what dish we are bringing.

    Can't wait!!!!! Come on Friday!!!!

I'll grab a couple more Dollar Tree table cloths, and I have a folding table that's about 6' long. Its part of the camping ensemble now, so we can use it if needed.

Great! Looks like we have enough tables for the food, table clothes for the picnic tables, coffee, etc.

See everyone in a few days. [A]

Let's see where we stand. Still haven't worked on the electrics, so we'll be using the jumper cables to put the trailer up again. Yippee. Still haven't worked on the water, so another hose may blow off the hot water heater in the middle of the night again. Double yippee. My boss just said he wants to leave early Friday, so if I can't convince him to close early, I'm in DC till 5:00. Triple yippee. And as a added bonus, the vinyl I ordered for the new stripes won't be in until Thursday afternoon so I'll probably be doing a re-striping demonstration sometime Saturday. Things seem to be going fairly average.

I think we've only ever set up in daylight 3 times, so set up is no problem. Backing in might be though.

Breadbox, I know the feeling. We made it to one campground this year in daylight, once there we found we forgot the paperwork for my dog. by the time we got it and got back to the site it was dark. I am leaving at noon and driving 3 hours. I wonder if I can make it happen on this trip?
