Looking good! I love the fact that you took on a project that most would not attempt. Keep us posted.

I appreciate that!

I didn’t have the funds to buy a camper right away, and I don’t want to finance anything, so here we are. :)

they used to sell iron-on patches... my Mom patched my jeans with them when I was a kid...

use Mold Armor (lime green bottle from HDepot) to get rid of black mold and stains, rinse and lightly scrub after the mold disappears, then use Star-Bright water repellant on the fabric after patching

Gorilla tape also to reinforce corners and seams works great and lasts a long time...

I may give this a shot. Nothing to lose at this point.

I really don't need to do this myself right now, but you did inspire me to do a modest search online for nearby freebie project PUPs. I didn't put any feelers out so keep feeding us with progress updates.

Canvas Replacement in Loyal, WI are fantastic! Did my StarCraft camper last year and they have my Coleman right now. Super people to work with.
I would second Canvas Replacements as we had a great experience in the past when we had our pup. I had a quick look and they probably have you canvas on stock (using the info from your first post) so you could probably have installed and ready to use sooner than you thought.

Is the roof solid? The photo looks like there's a bit of a sag. I had issues with the seal between the AC unit and roof, which caused a roof leak. Then the seal tape on the AC unit itself failed, causing another leak. You might want to replace the seal proactively. BTW, I also replaced the AC unit cover; I was surprised that it cost $300! Good Luck!

Roof is good. Going to replace the AC shroud once the higher priced items are done.

I did send them an email to see if they have it in stock. Thank you for the suggestion!

I have the same camper (first one I’ve heard of like ours!). I’m really excited to follow this thread. What type of vinyl and canvas wash do you suggest?

Me, when I had the pup, and on my awning now, soap and water first, if that dosen't clean it, diluted bleach, and then rinse real well. I do that on canvas and sumbrella, and the vinal. Some disagree, but , find what your tenting is made of and look it up. Just dilute the bleach a lot. You dont need a lot. Too much will not be good. Sumbrella has it on there site to use to clean it. Some also recomend 303 cleaner and then waterproofing. You can use the starbrite also, a bit cheaper.

Can you post a picture of the inside of your door latch? My key is no longer working. I think I can get a hanger in from the top and pull the lock up but I need to see what I'm working with.

I would just crank the roof up, but the crank is inside. :)
