I want to wish all my fellow Texas coasters God speed and good luck in the face of Ike.

If any coasters want to hook up and pull to central Oklahoma let me know and some of us Okies can let you know the best campgrounds to settle at. I know it's a long pull up here from the coast, but this might be an option for some, and I know the Okie Portal people would jump right in and help out with logistics. Post or PM if anyone wants help with something like this.

This is the best website and the best bunch of people I have ever met. I am so glad that I bought a pu, because if we had not, I would have never met such a great, caring bunch of people.

God bless each and everyone. Thank you for all you do.
    Love, Ann and Lee

Whatever you guys in and around Texas can do for those who are 'under the weather' will be greatly appreciated by all of us. Thanks in advance!

Ahhh...you guys are great. When we're faced with a major storm again, I'll certainly put out a campground needed SOS on the portal. My problem is not having a laptop. We always prepare as if we're going to evac then wait and watch. So, if we decided to evac 12 hrs prior to landfall (when my DH's employer releases him), I wouldn't get anyone's suggestions. Reality is that before the next storm, I hope to have a laptop with wireless capability. <img src=../Images/icons/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle alt="Smile">

Glad to be a part of this great group of folks!
