This is me getting ready to head out to the race track. It looks kinda scary but it handled very well. I don't think I'll be doing the quad on top any more, way to scary to load and unload it. And for those who are concerned it has a roof rack that handled the weight very well.

I wouldn't put that weight on mine, how about total weight on axle/tires? While it worked was it safe and within limits ????

That's a good looking tow vehicle. How's it do on hills?

Only way I'd do that if I was into that is fasten the rack to the frame instead of the roof.

I Bet it was scary, glad your not planing on doing that again. Even with the rack, personally I wouldn't try to put that kind of weight on my roof, I know most are foam filled in the center & not that well braced to begin with. You have to have them braced just to add a AC unit, plus there is GW factor... Glad your safe.

I had about 50 lbs to spare before I hit the max GVWR.

Thank you. It does pretty good on hills, I haven't hit any really big his with it yet but I feel if I push it hard I can hang with traffic. I tend to drive slower when I have a trailer in tow anyways.

I almost didn't take it out that way, I was more scared of the TV being able to handle that much weight. The mirrors are great although I wish they had a larger mirror. I will be ordering the wide angle mirror for the passenger side here soon.

It actually handled the weight quite well although I don't think I would try it without the rack. I actually walked around on it for about 10-15 minutes before I decided to attempt it.
