This took no more than 10mins to do. This stuff works great. Wish I had time to do the whole trailer.

    Wow! Looks awesome!

Did you have to rinse it out after you cleaned with it?
I've seen some posts about how awesome this stuff is and wanted to try it, but there's been some back and forth about how it has bleach in it and it could damage your tenting so I've been afraid to use it. Do you have vinyl on your PUP or canvas?

We have vinyl. Yes, I rinse well, then put a fan on it to help dry it out.

What process do you use to rinse it? I would think just spray clean water on? Maybe a sponge? I'd like to try, but I feel like I need more information! :)

Toothbrush and a cup of warm water that I dip the toothbrush into. I clean small areas, one at a time.

Well, you had me until the "scrubbing with a toothbrush" part. Too many Army memories there... :) [{:)] [:D]

I tend to want to do too big of an area, the toothbrush keeps me in a small spot. Otherwise I would try and do the whole thing at once.

Good advice! Thanks! I think I would also want to do a larger area and get it over with. Slow and steady is the key though.

What would the downside of simply spraying it on and walking away be? It looks like it is meant to be sprayed on.

Perfect, thanks for getting back to me on this! I've tried several different products on our mold stains with no luck, so I'm excited to give this a go. :)

Looks great... I had success with this product also. Cleaned inside and outside of all canvas (spayed and scrubbed) Then used an upholstery attachment on a carpet cleaner to do the thorough rinsing ... Let dry completely then coated in and out with 303 Fabric Guard. Towels tucked down to the bunk boards picked up the dribbles.
2009 Rockwood 1950, didn't look so bad when I first brought it home as 3rd owner but after starting the "touch up" I wanted more off white and less dingy and any mildew advancing. Took 2 days and everything I ate tasted bleachy but it's clean and protected. Some of the nooks and crannies were hard to reach where the zippers don't go to the bottom of the screen, even with a toothbrush, but I doubt the mildew will continue to spread after the BPS remover. BTW I didn't use it on any vinyl-backed material. Oxyclean works for that. In hindsight there was more dirt and mildew than I realized from the looks of the dark filthy rinse water !!!
If anyone has a 2009 Rockwood perhaps you can tell me what the outside roof material is, aluminum, fiberglass, even Forest River can't tell me [:!]

That looks fantastic! I may have to get that for the rest of our tenting.

For the main yuk parts, the main windows surrounds, I just put bleach in a spray bottle - spritzed it on lightly and scrubbed with a damp dish brush I got at Dollar Tree. We just camped through hurricane rains for 3 days and didn't seem to compromise it in any way. I have asthma, so was willing to risk it to get of the mold.

I used straight bleach to kill the mold, then did them with window cleaner because the bleach left them streaky.

With very wet rags. I use the sink in my PUP to keep rinsing the rags and going over the spot I'm rinsing. I tend to over rinse everything.
