I just wanted to share a couple experiences from camping growing up. True, I don't recall ever having a "bear accounter of the third kind", but being mostly that we camped at Assateague SP, we had horse trouble, lol. I remember one morning waking up to my mom calling to my dad "there's a horse in our screen house". Sure enough, a loaf of bread left on the picnic table lured a horse to our site, where it proceeded to chew right threw the screen, my mom awoke to see the front half of the beast inside the screened house, lesson learned.

Another camping trip, it was at Shad's Landing SP, my mom had brought delicious brownies, my dad says "just one around, save some for another day" Yea right, more like save some for the raccoons, those horrid tricksters opened the tupperware container, containing these brownies left on the picnic table, in the screen house, lesson learned. (At least that's what our parents told us,lol)

Yup, you can't ever leave anything out. Hungary critters will come after it.

Wild Animals are junk-food-junkies just like Humans.

And then there are the well-behaved critters that wait until you are ready to feed them.......
