We did it! We now have a 2015 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite 262BH! I'm super excited and also a little nervous about driving/parking it.
Welcome to the darkside. We've made two trips in our TT, and we're still learning about some aspects of driving, backing and parking. My main complaint with driving it is the loss of a rear view. I got the first "boo-boo" out of the way before the first trip, when I encountered a small branch on the neighbor's tree, pulling it close to the curb in front of our house. Oops - not much damage, we had to pick leaves out of the awning, and DH had to fix a slight tweak to it.
Congrats , we love the floor plan especially the bunk stairs. I do not have it but plan to engineer something . My wife initially and maybe still now better at parking and backing the TT. We both are new to it, but she just got the hang of it. I am working on this. Have fun. satz
Welcome, fellow darksider! Post pics when you get a chance. As for driving/parking, it is a bit of an adjustment.. no more taking up just a couple back-to-back parking spots at the grocery store during supply stops en route!
Congrats! Invest in some tow mirrors that fit on your existing truck mirrors. Made a world of difference when traveling and pulling out to pass.

Yes, ice cream! That was enough to convince DH to actually use the refrigerator in the new TT, instead of using it for dry storage.
