I never liked the way that the cover (seat) for the toilet/shower raised up and blocked off part of the front bunk. So, I fixed it! [A]

Thanks. I'm glad you saw the pics. I guess I'm digitally impaired tonight. I can't get them to show up the normal way.

I cut-n-pasted your links to an open browser [:D]

Looks like your missing the end tag [/img], the "/" is important.

Unfortunately I'm not able to see the pics, and I never minded the access issue, but if it is what I think it is, it was a mod I completed because I have a king sized Aerobed that we put on top of the foam mattress. The Aerobed is a bit wide, and necessitated the need to have the lid swing toward the canvas instead of the bunk end. So I switched the hinge to the road side to eliminate the interference of the lid and the mattress. I hope I'm interpreting the mod correctly. BTW, it's not your fault that I cannot see the pictures, it's the problem of the current IP address I have and that they block media sharing where I am working overseas.

E3, we reached the same goal, but I did it a different way. I kept the hinge in the same place, but I built a new wood lid with a second hinge a little past the middle. Now I can fold the front part back and then fold the entire lid up without blocking the bunk. I kept the towel rack and put it on the bottom half of the lid. It's in roughly the same place as before.

Can't wait to be able to see the pictures when I get back home in three weeks. Cheers.
