While it won't be very good for those on the East Coast, we'll have a total Lunar Eclipse in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 4th. The eclipse begins at 6:16 a.m. EDT/3:16 a.m. PDT (penumbral shadowing will start about an hour earlier), with totality beginning at 4:58 a.m. PDT. From the continental U.S., the moon will set partially eclipsed, even for those on the West Coast.

I guess we picked a good weekend for the Arizona Spring Rally!
