    Hi All,

Does anyone have towing mirrors they would recommend? It looks like we don’t have many options so I’m likely just going to order the CIPA 11980 and hope for the best. Our current mirrors on our 2020 Odyssey are aerodynamic shaped so I don’t believe the 11950 model with straps will work.

I am scared of a mirror flying off and causing an accident. Would adding a zip tie be a decent back up?

    thanks so much!
    Amy

we lost several styles of mirrors. CIPA 11980 have been great for us. We have used them on both our 05 4runner and our 04 F150. have them on both mirrors.

It says right on the page they are made for a 2020 Honda Odyssey. If you need confirmation, call eTrailer.

I don’t have experience with the 11980, but I use the 11950 on our Sienna without issues. The straps are rubber and grip the mirror well, even on the sloped aerodynamic mirrors. I did have to modify mine a bit to trim down the tabs since they were pushing on the glass itself.

I have these on my Tundra. If installed correctly ( and it’s easy to do it incorrectly) they will not come off. I’ve hammered a couple of hundred miles of washboard with them and they’re still there

That's a cool site, I just clicked, and you can put the year and make, just like that! Impressed, so do they stay on really well? Do you think that they would work for helping us see better for backing our camper? One more: do you need both, driver and passenger side mirrors?

The ones I have work like a champ. The opened up a whole new world behind me when I have the trailer hooked up. There's no danger of them coming off unless you were to hit something.

eTrailer is great. They are located just outside St. Louis so can normally ship anywhere within a couple or three days. When we bought our WDH, Amazon was about $15 less but would have added about $75 sales tax. eTrailer didn't have to collect the sales tax and it arrived in two days. One of the things I like is you can submit a question about an item or ask for a recommendation and will normally get a response within 24 hours.

Sounds good, it should help us while driving, and backing up. Thanks.

Very jealous. Hoping to move south someday. Also hope you didn’t have any damage from crazy weather last week. My friends in Dallas had their lower level flood from a burst pipe.

We got lucky, but everyone I know lost power and/or water, and many had freeze damage to pipes. Thankfully we were already well stocked with food and I had enough camping gear to get us through just about any winter complications the storm wanted to bring.
