Hello, I am searching for a replacement trailer jack. I have a funky one called Al-Ko and I can't find a direct replacement. The tongue receiver is welded to the frame and has a "door" that closes around the jack. I bought a bulldog jack (recommended by etrailer) but it doesn't fit. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Have you tried contacting Al-Ko directly? Looks like they're still in business.

I would also try searching for one in a junk yard near you. We have a couple of u-pull junk yards that have a few trailers.

You can also get replacement parts for what is called a jockey wheel jack by searching bay or Amazon.

I would just cut the old one off and weld on a new one. You can find them at Home Depot, Lowes etc.

Maybe just change the wheel and be done with it

I did contact them. They no longer make trailer parts and the parts that are available are in Europe. Thanks for your help.

Can that metal plate in the middle be removed? It looks like it may be hiding a hole to bolt a jack to. I cant stand folding jacks. Never did have one that stayed secured.
