Trap pond state park

    we are heading to delaware to trap pond state park..
    any site or loop recommendations.. need to book today

    We were only there once. We chose D15 because we had a canoe we wanted to keep an eye on. It backed nicely to the woods where the walk in tent sites are, there is also a road on the side that people using the walk in sites use. We would have preferred one closer to the water, but the place was pretty full. As I remember the A loop was the most open.

    For future readers, I found all sites to be almost identical. It may be a matter of convenience such being closer to the pond if you have a boat of playgroung if you have kids/grandchildren.

    Thanks. It's on our "To visit" list. A friend said we'd enjoy kayaking through the cypress.

    Very quiet considering size of campground. Many have their own kayaks. Also, rentals are available. If on foot, several good hiking trails.
