I finally figued out how to mount my new TV. I will run the wires in the pipe and plug in to the cig plug you see mounted next to the bottom of the pipe.

The TV is a 22" 1080i with DVD player built in and 12v DC. I custom made brackets on the back so it just slips onto the pole and you put a pin through it to secure it to the pole. The pole just goes through the hole I drilled in the counter and I made a base plate that the very bottom of the pole sits in and its screwed into the ground. It takes about 2 seconds to set it up. The pole slides out and you just lay it on the ground in transit.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Does the Tv turn on the pole so it can be seen from the bed?

    $355 http://www.bundlecity.com/Items/NX-563?&caSKU=NX-563&caTitle=22%20Inch%20Naxa%20AC/DC%20Widescreen%201080i%20HD%20LCD%20TV%20with%20DVD%20Player%20%26%20ATSC%20Digital%20Tuner%20NX-563

Ya the pole rotates so you can point the TV towards the bed or the other way if you want. It only moves about 45 degree's. If you want it to move more you just mount the pole farther away from the wall so the TV will rotate with out hitting the window. When we mocked it up we didn't see any reason for us to rotate more then we allowed.
