Anyone been here lately? If so how is it? Are the restroom clean?

One of my favorite parks, heading back there in July. I prefer the Oak Haven camping area over the Cozy Circle area. The bathrooms are clean and frequently attended to, fishing is good in the lake and the hiking trail is nice. Bastrop SP is close enough to drive to for a pool or golf but I really prefer Buescher for it's camp sites and much smaller feel.

We are trying to decide between Buescher and Bastrop State Parks for a trip the week after Thanksgiving. How were your trips? We'll be bringing a canoe and our two small children. Thanks,

We stayed a Buescher a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. It is nice and quiet compared to Bastrop but close enough that you can use the pool at Bastrop by paying the day rate.

The bathrooms were very clean and there are some nice shady spots.
