Believe it or not, I haven't been out to Cedar Hill since not long after it openned back in the early '90s. I hate driving any where near Dallas but we're still thinking about a week's trip out there the first week in November. For those that have been out there, what would be our best site choices? Want waterfront for the 'yaks and shade trees more for privacy then protection from heat. I'm aware that Lakewood and Eagle Ford Campgrounds are "closed" for construction at this. Shouldn't be an issue by then but I intend to call the park in the next day or two and see what's happening. Any thoughts, guys?

    Happy Camping!

I think I stayed in 32 in '05, long way to the water, shallow.
I stayed in 257 a few years later and eyed the sites 280-270, very close to water and a tad steep.

Cedar hill is so crowded that we try to avoid it like the plague.
