    Greetings.

I was crawling around under my Pup just inspecting it and realized that the wood is uncoated. It looks like just straight MDF board and I'm wondering about the rains of the PacNW that we experience out here. Chatting with some friends they recommended using Flex Seal and coating the undercarriage with that stuff, but I'm wondering if there is a different solution.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Cheers.

Its ment to be uncovered so it can breath i think. Sealing it will rot it out fast.

Unfortunately your friends don't know what they're talking about. Your floor needs to breathe and it can't do that through the top side which has vinyl flooring over it so it can only do so through the underside. You're looking for a solution to a problem that isn't ... leave it as is, it'll be fine. [A]

NO FLEXSEAL!!!! the wood needs to breathe.

The only place flexseal should be is inside a trash can.

If you want to cover the underside of the floor DO NOT use flex seal , as mentioned only use for that crap is inside a garbage can. Use plastic ore sign material screwed to the frame and enclose the entire underbelly like TT's, 5'ers and MoHo's are.. if you don't want to do that, then leave it alone and stop listening to friends who even suggest flexseal.
