    I have a new-to-me Coachmen Clipper Sport 086 (2005).

The plastic manual hand pump was broken (handle broken off) when I purchased the PUP. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement hand pump that is of better quality (maybe metal rather than the chintzy plastic that broke)??

I put in an electric pump and changed to a regular faucet. I felt the hand pump was useless.

I did the same thing. City water connection on one tap and tank water through pump to the other. The best upgrade in my trailer.

Photos at... Http://headpond.ca/Palomino.html the pump is a demand pump, but I put a disable switch in as well.

If you search around in the "That ain't Stock" section you'll find lots of members who have done the mod of replacing worn out and broken hand pumps with 12volt electric pumps..

If you take a look on Camping Worlds website you can even find a couple "kits" for doing this..

I'll probably choose the same replacement.
I also need to replace the water supply line from the tank which is mildewy/moldy. [XX(]

The foot pump idea is a good one. I've spent time on sailboats and that is what many use. I like the hands free operation and it seems to provide more "torque"/pressure to pull the water from the tank.

I didn't go electric when mine broke, just replaced it with this metal unit and it works great... Just had to make the hole in the counter a bit bigger.
