Upgraded my ice box

    Painted my ice box with chalkboard paint and added some reflectix around the back. Not sure if it was a waste of my time to add the reflectix but there was open space behind the box to beef up the insulation.

    Don't think it will do too much. Make sure you didn't cover any heat sources.

    For a straight icebox, any insulation will help I would think. Several have made reflectix covers for outside coolers, and they have helped to some extent, although more for reflecting sun than actual insulation. Toss a gauge in there and let us know how it works.
