I had my second shot last week. My husband is scheduled for his second Saturday, and my friend on Thursday. Friend and I had decided we were not leaving the state until we got vaccinated, so we actually have two sets of reservations for June. We'll decide which to cancel around the first of May, when we see how things are going at our destination(s).
NM just moved to another phase of vaccinations, so we're hoping friend's husband will soon have his (he's older than the other 3 of us, but no underlying conditions).
The Sister on the Fly event I have plans to attend in Colorado in May is still on the calendar, just with different activities than usual. (No pot lucks, we're being asked to bring propane campfires if we have them so we can have lots of small groups, etc.) The event in June my friend and I had planned to attend (since last June) was canceled, but we'll do the trip anyway, as long as things are fine there.

DD, DW and I will all finish our shots on April 10 (AK is open to all adults now). The process has be fairly easy. DW got pretty tired and sore on shot 1, not too much for me, just a little low energy.

I honestly hadn't equated the vaccine with doing more or different stuff with the TH this summer, but I guess it is a factor.

Waiting on the J&J one & done; VA sent a message last week for me to set a time, they have the 2 shot series now, but I'll wait for 'em to get the other or if the state has an opening I'll get it then...I'll continue on as I have been...

I had my first shot last Thursday and the second scheduled for April 8th. Pfizer for me! The DW had both of hers and is considered fully vaccinated.

By the way, the first vaccinated nurses are all still doing well! [8D]

I worked a vaccine clinic at a local mall in Ohio. With the VA. Last weekend. We vaccinated. Over 600 people , they had 4 extra shots left at the end of the day. Due to no shows, which cannot be wasted, so went into the mall to vaccinate any four people, surprising. How hard it was to find 4 people randomly willing to receive a early shot. After some coxing. 4 teenage girls who worked at a ultra. Store Got there first round shot early. Back in 3 weeks. To give them. There second dose

Glad to hear many of you are getting your vaccinations. My first appointment is scheduled this week. It’s the smartest thing to do.

I am a Covid-19 Pneumonia survivor and long hauler. I got infected last summer and was hospitalized. I consider myself to be a strong person who is rarely sick. Covid-19 knocked me out for awhile. Never felt so sick in my life. I was quarantined for 21 days from DH & DS. I still have some lingering symptoms. I can’t wait to fully recover back to normal again. I’ve lost a few extended family members from young to old. I hope everyone gets vaccinated and never have to go through what I did last summer. Or lose any family or friends.

Happy Camping...[put&hy]
