I love everyone who got vaccinated.

One thing I am tired of.. Is when they keep saying....We got to get shots in the arms of every American.
It sounds like something Dictators would say.
Why cant they just say...Everyone needs to get a shot?
Everyone needs to get vaccinated?

I don’t expect people in other countries to fully understand this but here in the USA we have a Constitution. This document does not give us rights but limits our government in what they can do. We have certain freedoms we are born with and can’t be taken away even in a Pandemic..... I will get it when I feel I know enough to feel safe getting it. And not any amount of bullying from the pro vaccine ppl, the government or the press will change my mind. *Rant out*

edit: it doesn’t help that the government gave the pharmaceutical companies ( I kinda understand this) and themselves freedom from liability. If it’s so safe what do they need protection from. ( I hear black helicopters)

Wow... finally, a common sense post.
I find the long list of the excited vaxers interesting to say the least.
common sense seems to be in such short supply. Fear is not.
When people start talking about their plans and ideas for bullying people into compliance being a good idea... I start remembering my plans for when people think that is really a good idea to implement that idea.

When people start talking about their plans and ideas for bullying people into compliance being a good idea... I start remembering my plans for when people think that is really a good idea to implement that idea.

By the Statistics I don't think fear is pushing it.

I can't believe getting a vaccine against a pandemic that has killed hundreds of thousands is a political thing.....


I'm glad we are getting to the thresholds of "percentage of population vaccinated" that will allow for reopening, which will result in being able to camp again - thus relevant

We are getting close here.

I also am glad to see the reopening in the states. Hopefully the borders open up soonish - I miss visiting the great parks and people down there. You guys are basically our brothers and sisters

Unlike the news, there is intelligent conversation here. And it is not dependent on our agreeing with one another.

In western PA as far as I am concerned this is all in the past, unless you get in and around the lib bastion of Pittsburgh / Allegheny County with its higher than average population of skeered sheeple whackos. And also taking into account inflation which is out of control.$15.00 lb rib eyes, $3.25 gas, $80.00 plywood, $20.00 2x4s, and $550 week sub compact rental cars. Thanks Joe and company.

I got my shots (Moderna) awhile ago and have yet to grow a big toe out of my left butt cheek.

Lots of people have died from it and we even knew some who did. The neighbors got it and said "it was so bad, I wouldn't wish it to my worst enemies". Even there little one in the water got it. They (the parents) are now vaccinated.

THIS article from April 20th of this year in US News states the contrary. According to the article and comparing 2019 to 2020:

Cancer deaths are down 0.1%
Heart Disease deaths are up 4.0%
Diabetes deaths increased by 15.4%
Influenzas deaths increase by 6.9%

This one, the Well respected medical and research journal, JAMA, has about 20% overall death increase (agrees with your source) which means about half a million more Americans died in 2020 than would be expected in a normal year.

well I succumbed to the intense peer pressure... so I got my two shots last week... I can tell you thee were little side effects and I felt amazing... amazing part is there are hundreds of years of history behind this and I think you should seriously consider bowing to the pressure also... you will be glad you did...
